Julie Johnson is planning on having her first ever photography workshop in June! Over the past few months she  has had many inquiries to pick her brain. The time has come and she is ready to share! Based on the response I will be offering TWO workshops. BEGINNER AND ADVANCED

BASIC BEGINNER CLASS: 9:30am-12pm Saturday June 5th  $40.00 each. Call us at 905-335-9486 to pay by Visa or Mastercard and to reserve your spot. To be held at COMPASS POINT BIBLE CHURCH in the fireside room 1500 Kerns Rd, Burlington. 9:00am Check in, coffee & pastries

DESCRIPTION: For those friends of VINE who want to get the most out of their digital SLR cameras and take better photographs in all different environments.  Learn how to get familiar with the basic operation and functions of your camera. I will answer questions such as… What are the essential lenses and difference between them? Which lenses are better to use in certain situations. The class will be given a series of photographic situations to deal with, both indoors and outdoors.  Julie will coach the group through each situation.  Students quickly learn how to produce the best shot in the most common situations.  Strategies for avoiding problem situations are discussed.

ADVANCED FOR PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS: TUESDAY JUNE 8th 2010   9:00am-3:00pm SOLD OUT (including lunch) at my Home Studio (depending on the response I may open up another day)

For Professional Photographers who want to learn more about dealing with the elements of Studio/Natural Light Photography. The goal of each workshop is to accelerate the learning of each student through a hands-on experience! The workshop will include lectures and interactive segments (two to a computer).  So bring your gear! You will learn about baby posing (tips and tricks). Learn how to deal with 2 year olds, Branding, How to Create Raving Fans, Marketing and more. You will also learn how to shoot in low light situations, and use photoshop techniques to enhance your photography. Bring all your questions! You will have the opportunity to pick my brain all day!

Hi Jaclyn,
This is the only beginner course being held this year. I will most likely having another in the spring of 2011.
