BRENT + PAM – by Burlington wedding and engagement Photographer Julie Johnson

I can remember clear as can be the day that little Brent came home from the hospital. I was 7 years old and lived two doors down from his family. Brent’s one and only sister Trisha, is one of my dearest and closest friends. I have watched him grow into a handsome young man. Brent has been like a brother to me, so you can imagine my excitement when he & Pam asked me to photograph their wedding! I can’t wait. I am so happy that he met such a beautiful, sweet girl. Pam, I think you are amazing! We had a very fun day and went all over the place to get some of these shots. Take a look…

Take a look at this little guy! He was such a ham! His Mom drove him all the way from the Muskoka’s to have his photograph taken. He was such a good baby! They own three unique specialty shops up North. The Upper Loft, Muskoka Launch & Motor and The Boathouse. You can check out their website by clicking here http://www.portsandfield.com  His Mom brought some pretty neat outfits and props with her.

He could eat his toes!

“The Pirate Ship” in Jordan Harbour, St. Catharines, ON

Some of you may have seen this ship before, it is only a few metres from the Queen Elizabeth Highway on the way to Niagara Falls.  It was a bit of a surprise when we saw it for the first time. My kids like to call it the the Pirate Ship. It has been in Jordan Harbour, at the Beacon Hotel marina, since 1997.  The story has it that the ship was built in Lauzon, Quebec, 1914 and was originally used as a St. Lawrence River ferry. It was called Le Progress. In 1991 a wooden facade was built over the steel hull and the masts and crows nests were added to make her look like Jacques Cartier’s 1535 ship Le Grande Hermine. She was re-named Le Grande Hermine and used as a restaurant in Montreal. After a few moves and some unpaid dock-age fees, she was towed to her present location where she has been ever since. A fire in 2003 burned off all the wood finishing. On Easter weekend, a few of my girlfriends and I took our kids over to see it up close for the first time. I brought my camera…take a look…

F.A.Q.

What if I have my own photograph that I would like to use? As long as your photograph was taken by you please feel free to email us the images you would like top use. Please note that if your photograph was taken by a professional photographer we would need their written permission.

Can you stamp on the back?
The stamping on the front leaves an impression on the back so unfortunately it cannot be done.

Can I have a different photograph on the front and back of my pendant from two different sessions?   Of course you can! All that we need to know are the session dates and the image numbers that you would like to use

Can I have words/dates added to my pendant at a later date?
Of course, as long as there’s room on the pendant to include what you wish to add, and the existing words/dates have not been centered on a circle pendant.  Once multiple words/dates are centered on a circle pendant, you can’t add another name without affecting the centering.

Is there any cost to have additional words/dates added at a later date?
Yes! Add another name or date (room pending) for an additional $15.00. If you are thinking of having more children down the road, keep in mind positioning of your names.

Can I choose upper and lower case letters?
All stamping is done in upper case in the font that you see in the photographs. However, there is a smaller size available. Unless you request otherwise, the larger type is used.

I don’t think you will be able to fit all of the words that I want to include.  Any suggestions?
Consider using initials or an abbreviated name instead.  A shorter nick is also a popular thing to do!
